Working to protect and enhance the Lickey Hills and their environs
The table below illustrates the contribution the Society makes to the Lickey Hills Country Park. It contains details of major projects undertaken and equipment/materials the Society has funded. It is not an exhaustive list but gives a flavour of our work.

July 2023 | Picnic Bench | F | The Society purchased a new Recycled plastic picnic table for outside the Visitor Centre, to replace one destroyed by disposable BBQs |
June 2023 | No BBQs and No Fire signs | F | The Society has purchased 50 signs to be put on the picnic benches, seats and in other prominent locations. It is hoped that these signs will register with those thinking of using BBQs and consequently, will help to reduce the risk of fires within the Country Park |
June 2023 | Orienteering signs | F | At the Ranger's request the Society purchased replacement signs for the orienteering course |
April 2023 | Fruit trees for Community Orchard | F | To mark Coronation of King Charles III two new trees were purchased - a King Charles Pearmain and a May Queen |

Sept 2021 | Information Boards | F & P | The society funded and helped design the Information or ‘Gateway Boards’ located at four entrances to the Country Park; namely Beacon Hill car park, the Old Rose & Crown, the Fordrough (opposite Barnt Green Station) and the Visitor Centre. Each board is double sided with a map of the Country Park on one side and information relevant to the particular location on the other.
