Working to protect and enhance the Lickey Hills and their environs
Over the years, in addition to the much valued monetary support of our members, the Society has been fortunate enough to receive money gifts, grants and donations. Some of those are detailed below

Each year, the LDWA organises one of its major challenges, a 100 mile walk in 48 hours. This year’s walk took place mainly in Worcestershire and Warwickshire and included a section in the Lickey Hills |

2011 | John Murdock Legacy | £25,000 | A very generous legacy from a local gentleman, with a love of the Lickeys, who did not stipulate how the money should be spent but asked that some be used for the benefit of walkers. |
